Students looking for ways to sell their books during exam week may have one less option. Recent Capital graduate David Comisford has been buying textbooks from students since 2007. This year Bexley may not let him operate his book tent at its normal location on the corner of Pleasant Ridge and Mound Street.

Relay for Life: A walk to remember, not just to cure

People walk to buy groceries, to lose weight, and sometimes even just to give their dog some exercise (I'm talking to you two, Beth Sharb and Mr. Munch). But on March 26 and 27, 19 groups of Capital students will be walking for something greater--a cure. "Relay for Life is the world's largest movement to end cancer," Robert Paschen, Public Relations Director for the Central Ohio Region of the American Cancer Society, said.

After hard-fought seasons by both teams, the men's and women's basketball teams finished their seasons without NCAA tournament bids, but success nonetheless. An impressive follow-up to one of their most successful seasons of all time saw the women's team make a postseason run all the way to the championship game of the OAC tournament following a regular season championship.

I have been a Christian for about a decade now and I have known God's love. Yet one of the major struggles of my life has been feeling God's love. I know it's there. It even says in God's word that He "so loved the world..." [John 3:16]. But I haven't been feeling it.

Tea-Partiers misuse tactics, spread disunity

There's nothing that annoys me more than someone who has no idea what they're talking about and hates on people who disagree with them. That sentence seems pretty loaded and it should. I'm talking about the small, yet media-consuming "Tea Partiers." Don't get me wrong; I'm all for the First Amendment.

The lights, the glitter, the glam-the Academy Awards were quite spectacular this year, as usual. Besides the awkward red carpet interviews, Cameron Diaz calling Steve Carell "Jude" because they didn't fix the teleprompter and Barbara Streisand's dress, I rather enjoyed the Oscar broadcast.
