This will come as an unfortunate shock to many professors around campus, but sometimes college students don't come prepared for class. By sometimes, of course, I mean nearly always. Usually, it's not a malicious decision on the part of the student.
Last week's column sparked several angry responses to my email inbox from men around campus defending their gender and their motives. Rest assured, I do know there are great guys out there who respect women. The ones who were so up in arms are probably some of them.
